Samsung FH6030 vs F6300 (UN55FH6030 vs UN55F6300; UN46FH6030 vs UN46F6300)

The F6300 has a number of Smart TV features, such as the S-Recommendation, full web browser, and of course, full-fledged applications platform. On the other hand, all of the above are omitted from the FH6030, which is the biggest difference between the two devices. Here is what else sets them apart:

  • Although the FH6030 is equipped with the active 3D system, there are no glasses included with the set, so if you plan on watching 3D movies, you will need to separately purchase the required eyeware. That said, the F6300 is a non-3D TV, thus you will have to decide whether you want a 3D (FH6030) or a Smart TV (F6300).
  • The F6300 has a built-in Wi-Fi, as well as an Ethernet port for LAN connections. Its opponent has neither.
  • The FH6030 offers very limited number of inputs: 2 HDMI and 1 USB. Its counterpart, on the other hand, has 4 HDMI and 3 USB.
  • The F6300 has a dual-core processor, while its opponent has a single-core. However, as the latter doesn't have any sort of smart TV features, the more powerful processor is hardly needed.
  • They both have panels with 120Hz native refresh rate, plus additional video processing, which Samsung calls Clear Motion Rate (of 240, in this case), meaning they can handle fast-moving objects equally well.
  • The stand of the F6300 allows the TV to be swiveled, while the one of its rival does not.
